 Activity/ Task:

  1. Using a unit of informal measurement, measure the length of Moonee Ponds Primary School. What would be the best unit of measurement to use?
  2.  Now that you have an informal unit, convert it into a formal unit. What formal units do you already know?
  3. Now that you have an accurate unit of measurement can you work out how many school lengths we would need to travel in order to get t0 the Melbourne Zoo from Moonee Ponds Primary School? How long would it take to walk this route?
